Sue Sasso resides in the Black Hills of South Dakota with her husband, children, cats and pet snakes. Sue is blessed daily with beautiful scenes of prairie, forests and mountains. Sue's primary medium is oil paint though she also does pencil drawings and an occasional watercolor. Sue enjoys painting children's portraits, horse portraits, landscapes and murals.
Sue contributes her abilities as an artist to the Lord who has blessed her with an encouraging and supportive family, church family, and high school art teacher. She is also very thankful for the patience of her husband and children who are often forced to sit among the bugs of the forest while she paints en plein aire.
