Sue Sasso is an associate member of the Oil Painters of America and resides in the Black Hills of South Dakota with her husband, children, cats, bearded dragon, and pet snakes. Sue is blessed daily with beautiful scenes of prairie, forests and mountains. Sue's primary medium is oil paint though she also does pencil drawings and an occasional watercolor. Sue enjoys painting children's portraits, horse portraits, landscapes and murals.
Sue contributes her abilities as an artist to the Lord ho has blessed her with an encouraging and supportive family, church family, and high school art teacher. She is also very thankful for the patience of her husband and children who are often forced to sit among the bugs of the forest while she paints en plein aire.
